The main railway station in Bratislava is the Hlavná Stanica station. It
is located at the edge of the Old
Town. Train service is available from this station to northern
Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary and southern Slovakia.
Trains run frequently from Hlavná Stanica to Vienna's Südbahnhof station and
somewhat less frequently to Vienna's Westbahnhof station. Trains leave
every 30 minutes from Hlavná Stanica and the travel time is approximately 70 minutes
to the Vienna Südbahnhof station.
